How to Add Users to Google Search Console

A Step-by-Step Guide:

Log in to Google Search Console

Visit Search Console and log in with your Google account credentials.

Select the Property

From the Search Console Dashboard, select the property (website) you want to give access to.

If you do not see your desired property, ensure it is verified, or you can add it and complete the verification.

Access Settings

On the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on Settings.

Open Users and Permissions

In the Settings page, click on Users and permissions.

This section shows a list of all users with access to the selected property.

Add a New User

Click on the Add User button located in the top-left corner.

Enter the Email Address and Assign the Correct Permissions

Enter the email address of the user you want to add. Make sure that this is a Google account email.

Then Choose the permission level:

Full: Provides access to all data and the ability to make changes in settings.

Restricted: Provides access to view data but not to make changes or manage users.

Click "Add" to Confirm

Once you've entered the user's email and selected the appropriate permission level, click Add.

User Notification

The user you added will receive an email notification, and they will be able to access the property via their Google Search Console account.
